Megumi drew her first floorplan of a courtyard in middle school, having always been intrigued by building layouts and spacial planning. When it came time for college, it only made sense to study architecture. While working toward her degree, she collaborated with an HED principal and used the connection to earn her way onto the team.
Megumi never stays still for long, since she rotates through studio visits depending on a project’s category. Once the plan is set, Megumi reviews drawings and construction submittals to make sure she and the Design Team accurately translate 2D concepts into 3D design plans—and a recently completed high-rise proves she’s excellent at doing just that.
