Internship Success
While at Elon University, Danielle studied print and online journalism. She completed four different internships in the writing and editing fields, and was looking to enter the industry full-time after graduating. She checked out Hearst Magazines when a mentor told her about the array of opportunities there, and she joined the team a few weeks later.

What Danielle Does
Editorial Assistant
Danielle likes to arrive in the office around 8:30 AM, before anyone else gets in. She uses the quiet time to prepare herself and the editor-in-chief for the day, printing out a schedule and readying any necessary meeting materials, and then focuses on fulfilling her own editorial duties.
