With a bachelor’s in math and business from Bradley University and a master’s in predictive analytics from DePaul, Sean sought to transform his passions—for technology, data, and problem-solving—into a career that made a difference. In an era of big data and health care reform, HCSC offered Sean a brilliant opportunity to make an impact.
Coming in by 8 AM, Sean spends much of his day in talks—with video chats to colleagues in distant offices, and in problem-solving sessions with clients. Moving data archives about to empower clients with easy-to-digest insights, Sean finds that sometimes the biggest challenge isn’t the data—it’s helping users acclimate to new tools to use it.
“It’s all about data. It’s important to understand the trends that are happening with big data and how they’re drastically transforming the ways we store and consume data on an enterprise level.”
“If I ever have a question on anything, I know I can always go to my manager, or my manager’s manager, and they’ll always have my back.”
