Brendt’s foray into the hospitality industry began on the food and beverage side of the business. He started as a restaurant host in Colorado, then worked as a bartender in Florida before moving to New York, where he landed at The Modern. Looking to expand his hospitality experience, he ultimately made his way to the Soho Grand.
Brendt’s day revolves around making sure each guest who visits the Soho Grand has an incredible experience. If someone shares that they’re staying for a special occasion, he’ll send a bottle of champagne to their room to celebrate their arrival. It’s being able to surprise guests with small touches like this that make his job extra rewarding.
