Career-wise, it was acting or computers for Jeff—a theatre graduate and self-taught tech wiz. He chose the latter, expanding his skills building code with apprenticeships and software development work. Wanting to dig deeper into tech interests, Jeff discovered an appealing General Assembly position while web-surfing, and was instantly intrigued by the company’s non-traditional but tactical educational approach, flexible pace, and distinct emphasis on students.
