After he graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in economics, Justin started his career as an accountant with a small company in Seattle. He then worked for a variety of different tech companies. When Justin had the chance to join Funko—and spend his days surrounded by movie-lovers and artists—the decision was a no-brainer.
With up to 50 new items a day being added to Funko’s burgeoning inventory of licensed products, it’s essential that Justin collaborates closely with the Sales Department to guarantee that each item is correctly tracked to ensure future royalty reports are created and paid without error.
“Being around our artists and sculptors is just really inspiring, especially coming from finance. I just love going up to the art area and taking a peek at all the new things they’re working on—figures from some of my favorite shows and for movies that haven’t even come out yet. It’s really exciting.”
“We all have a passion for pop culture, and it’s really neat to be surrounded by people at work who share so many of the same interests.”
