Teresa studied psychology as a university undergraduate, and later received a certificate in forensic science. Teresa joined the FBI first as an Honors Intern. After her internship was completed in the Connecticut office, Teresa moved to her current role by reaching out to the San Francisco office about open career opportunities.

Teresa generally starts work early, pulling data from different points of information to find anomalies and patterns in open investigations. She also meets up with U.S. Attorneys and FBI officials to discuss evidence and prosecution tactics regarding particular cases. Her current project is to help private sector companies mitigate security risks.
