E.J. earned a BS in fitness management at Lock Haven University and a master’s in sports leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University. One day, one of his former undergraduate professors sent him an email about a health and fitness position at the FBI in Quantico—and he hasn’t looked back since.
E.J. trains three different FBI populations—National Academy students, New Agent trainees, and the agency’s Hostage Rescue Team. The curriculum that he teaches accelerates each agent’s physical, mental, and technical capabilities. E.J. understands the heavy responsibilities he must endure to make sure his students are well-equipped to adapt and handle any difficult situation.
“To be successful here, you always have to be mentally alert at all times. There aren’t any off-days. Whenever I’m in front of people, I have to give them my very best, because they deserve the very best.”
“What gets me excited about working at the FBI as a health and fitness instructor is that these young individuals I’m able to work with will someday be responsible for the well-being of my wife, our three young children, and this great nation.”
