Lanie is a psychology graduate from San Jose State University, with a focus on cognition and perception—specifically, the interaction between humans and computers. She embarked on her career journey by creating tools used by expert specialists. Contacted by a recruiter for F5, Lanie was already looking for a new and exciting place to learn and grow, so she accepted the offer.
Lanie acts as a liaison between the Marketing, Product Management, and Development Teams, and also collaborates with remote teams in Seattle and Tel Aviv. She seeks to put herself in the shoes of F5’s users, to understand their needs, gather requirements, and create an interface that optimizes their experience with a product—ensuring it’s intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable to use.
