Gisela attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and studied printing management and tech. One day, she reached out to a recruiter to help a friend find a job—and was instead offered a position herself. Gisela accepted the offer and has now been with Equinox for five years.
An ambassador of sorts, Gisela seizes every opportunity to showcase and elevate the brand across all creative channels. She manages the day-to-day operations of the in-house Creative Team supporting a majority of Equinox’s business lines. Gisela cultivates relationships with printing and installation vendors and ensures that all projects meet timelines. She also oversees the Equinox Store Front, an online print-on-demand tool connecting businesses with the collateral they need.
“A special project I’ve been working on is the rebranding of Equinox Sports Club. It’s part of a series of recent acquisitions we’ve done, and it’s presented some interesting changes in terms of crafting a new business proposition as we think how to approach branding when making these clubs.”
“Anyone coming in to interview should ask themselves why they want to work here. Don’t come to Equinox and expect to sit at a desk—great things are going to be happening, and you have to be a part of it.”
