A unique tradition that staff look forward to at Education Pioneers are leadership stories.Fellows and staff are given 10 minutes to deliver a mini TED talk to share why they're inspired to become a leader in education. It’s a great way to learn about people’s passions and drive—and the impact Education Pioneers has in their lives.
A team that has fun together stays together. That couldn’t be more true for the Education Pioneers team. Staff find lots of different ways to kick back and have fun, like going to happy hour, bowling, or the movies. They also like to learn together—employees often attend education networking events as a group as well.
“Working at a nonprofit is not your typical 9 to 5 job. People here are really passionate about working in education and willing to put in the hours, roll up of their sleeves, and do the work. That commitment is what drives me every day.”
Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing
“The drive, passion, and commitment of the folks that we work with is just incredible to witness and a huge energizing force. They’re also a lot of fun, which is great.”
