Derek started out doing email marketing after graduating with a master’s degree in sports management and sports marketing. He did stints with a number of companies in Silicon Valley—and that eventually landed him his Ebates job years down the line. Known for his marketing work, Derek was a shoo-in for his current role.
Derek works with teams across the organization, including the Creative, Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Email Teams. Each day, he supervises them in creating the marketing materials and initiatives that push the Ebates brand forward—strategizing new ways to surprise and delight customers as he steers the company into the future.
