After completing her PhD at the University of Indiana—focusing on quantitative statistics, and completing a dissertation on missing data—Yiran began searching for a job that would allow her to put her extensive education to use. After watching some videos about Dun & Bradstreet online, she felt the company would be the perfect place.
Yiran splits her time between internal and external responsibilities. Some days, she’s working closely with customers to communicate the result of product or process tests she executed on their behalf. On other days, Yiran is buried deep in research, reading about new methods she might employ in order to create innovative approaches to use data for the company.
