Five or ten years ago, the technology of the Double Robot was beyond both imagination and budget. Now, a wide variety of people—from school kids to doctors—are using the robot to better connect their worlds.
Founded in 2011, Double Robotics aims to create rich user experiences and aesthetic products within the field of robotics. Backed by the prestigious Y Combinator in 2012, Double Robotics shipped its first iPad-based telepresence robots in May 2013. Since then, Double Robotics has shipped robots to thousands of companies—counting the likes of Google, LinkedIn, Coca Cola, John Deere, and Mayo Clinic among its clients.
