Dan met his co-founder Ian at the wedding of their mutual friend. After realizing they had complementary skill sets and were passionate about technology, Dan and Ian kept in touch, founding Digital Trends in 2006. At the time, reporting on consumer electronics was highly technical. Dan thought Digital Trends could fill a niche by publishing tech-related content that was easy to understand.
Dan loves that his work enables more people to enjoy and have access to tech. In that vein, the focus of his individual role mirrors that of the company, which is to provide a fun and non-intimidating message surrounding consumer electronics. The technology that Dan manages is instrumental in creating original and easy-to-understand content, even for people who aren’t tech-oriented.
