Originally from England, Alastair has been involved in print media since his time at university, where he studied graphic design. When an opportunity to join the team at DATA arose, it felt like a dream to Alastair because his skill set is applicable to all of the challenges he faces on a daily basis.
For Alastair, one of the main reasons he gravitated towards print and digital media is because in its most basic form, it’s communication—everything that a human being needs. Alastair finds his work a welcome challenge, because the technology is always changing, providing fresh experiences and adaptable skill sets.
“Data is very much a sharing culture. So whenever we have a particular challenge and we need a new way of developing a solution, we actually share that straight away with as many people as possible. It’s a good group team mentality.”
