A UC Berkeley math grad, Jonathan was sure he would become a teacher. Instead, he chose a career in product management—loving the idea of creating impactful products people can use to improve their lives. Jonathan came across Credit Karma on Craigslist, and he was instantly drawn to its mission to empower people with financial education and tools for success.
Jumpstarting his day with a coffee boost, Jonathan makes his way to the daily stand-up meeting that gathers members of the product, design, and engineering teams. Through user testing and research, Jonathan learns about people’s financial pain points, then works to prep and launch problem-solving products that give Credit Karma’s members the edge they need to build better financial futures.
“There’s a lot of value placed on self-starters who are willing to challenge what’s out there in order to make a difference. There’s always room to improve and move forward if you have the right mindset.”
“We have an encouraging and motivating culture. Even though we have different ideas of how to do something, we all agree on doing what helps consumers the most.”
