Dan’s Story
Model Citizen
Fascinated by technology from a young age, Dan started 3D modelling when he was only 16. A jack-of-all-trades, Dan gained experience working for EA, the government, and his own business. With few gaming companies in DC, Dan originally joined Cortina because the work satisfied the same drive—but he stayed because the projects are meaningful.

What Dan Does
Senior Programmer
Using many different software platforms, with an emphasis on Unity, Dan crafts and implements software for Cortina while troubleshooting to ensure everything works as it should. Focused on data-driven projects using in-house CMS, Dan takes special pride in seeing his work, such as the traveling Baseball Hall of Fame Exhibit, take shape.

“It’s important for me to do something meaningful for society at large, and Cortina does that. We service major museums—we just did the African American Museum, which the President toured.”

“Every time I come into a new project, there’s always something interesting—some new technology I get to learn, or a design problem I’ve never faced before.”
