Christian learned the ins and outs of computer science at the University of Puerto Rico—but starting his career at a huge defense company in Washington D.C. solidified his expertise. When a recruiter from Conductor reached out, Christian wasn’t looking for a new job, but he immediately saw the team had a different vibe than most startups—and he appreciated the endless technical challenges.
Christian’s team is in charge of data collection and processing—which is fuel for Conductor’s fire. The data he works with feeds Conductor Searchlight, so two-week sprints and lots of pre-project planning come before he even touches a computer. When Christian isn’t gathering customer feedback at the C3 Conference, he contributes to initiatives that help the company scale—like updating legacy applications and transitioning to microservices.
