David’s part in dreaming up CommonBond happened quite naturally, since he and the other founders were normal graduate students with lots of business school debt. After leaving the Wharton School, he combined the pain point with his extensive background in finance and management to help change the personal finance game.
Aside from helping ideate and launch CommonBond, David’s reach spans every department and project. His days involve drastic variation—from handling capital and operations to spearheading big decisions, like acquiring Gradible. Though David looks at the big picture, he’s still an active member in the small startup environment, and he makes a point to be transparent and approachable.
