Each Monday starts with an all-hands meeting, which sets a positive tone for the week. On Fridays, a big barbecue acknowledges the week's successes and celebrates the teams and people doing interesting work. These are the times that build bonds and nurture the relationships between colleagues—and strengthen the mission of Collective Health.
Collective Health employees like that their company matches their values. There is an employee program called Collective Fit which meets every Wednesday morning to play a friendly game—such as capture the flag or football. There’s also Collective Yoga, a book club, and the newly launched LGBT group, Collective Pride. At Collective Health, leaders promote a good work-life balance.
“I love our audacious mission—that a little startup will take on the healthcare system. That’s a very bold goal.”
Head of Member Advocates
“Collective Health truly has a collaborative work environment where we talk about a problem, and at the end of the day we make a decision. Even if some of us have to make compromises, there’s no one voice dominating the discussion.”
