At CNN, not a day goes by when teams aren’t tackling intense issues from all around the globe. As a result, it isn’t unusual to find a fellow employee feeling a bit down from time-to-time. Luckily, the office is filled with passionate and supportive people who not only celebrate exciting stories, but commiserate on upsetting ones as well.
CNN supports many mentoring programs within its office walls, as well as under the larger Turner Corporation umbrella. Different groups get together once a month for an hour or so to discuss specific issues, from women in the workplace or women in technology to management skills and leadership tactics.
