Tyler studied civil engineering in college but pivoted within the engineering field after he graduated. Instead of focusing on bridges and tunnels, he gravitated toward software and became a developer for a handful of large companies. However, he did still manage to build something—a substantial SaaS career that eventually led him to CloudPassage.
Tyler’s days start with meetings, so he and the dev crew can hash out product phases. Meetings typically expand into interdepartmental collaborations, since QA helps plan capacity and infrastructure changes. Though it’s technical, Tyler’s main goal is to ensure the next-gen platform runs smoothly for customers—and to make sure he never misses a Donut Thursday.
