Jamaica was approached by a recruiter at a job fair, and they discussed her desire to be involved in social media. The two connected on social media and stayed in touch. When the perfect position became available, the recruiter had Jamaica at the top of the list—and encouraged her to apply.
Jamaica’s typical day includes first checking her emails for anything pressing, then checking her social media channels to connect with any applicants that have reached out. As the front agent for the social media branch of customer service, Jamaica fields applicants queries and questions—and lets them know where they stand in the hiring process.
