Kayla was born and raised in Fort Worth, and saw firsthand how dedicated the city is to its community. When the time came for her to choose a career, she parlayed her passion for animals into a full-time job by joining the city’s control unit to advocate for furry, feathered, and scaled creatures while earning awesome benefits.
Kayla’s days revolve around the education and outreach programs regarding the city’s animal inhabitants. It’s her job to ensure the safety and overall well-being of each wild and domesticated creature in the community. So she advocates for spay and neuter initiatives, informs the public about ordinances and protocols, performs home inspections, and offers training courses.
