About 16 years later, Dennis has worked in a slew of areas—sales and data included—that enable him to be one of few advertising operations generalists. CBS Interactive immediately recognized his value and recruited him to help steer its advertising dynasty.
Dennis looks at projects through the lens of building business, even though the bulk of his work starts after a sale is made. Before digging into advertising operations and overseeing the vetting of structural processes, Dennis networks with lots of prospective and current clients from technology providers to brainstorm partnerships and negotiate contracts—often in casual environments like major sports games.
