Amy studied geography and Environmental Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She always worked in guiding and training, which naturally segued into corporate trainer roles all over the world. After earning a diploma in adult learning theory and application of learning, Amy worked in training and development in tourism, e-commerce, and, ultimately, CA Technologies.
After cycling to the office, Amy’s day begins with checking in with her globally dispersed team via communication platforms. She then consults vendors to determine the best solutions for online training platform and the execution path. When needed, Amy becomes a subject matter expert in order to author the materials for the CA Technologies Academy.
“Culturally, it’s a friendly place to be, and everyone really has their eye on the same goal.”
“Two important qualities to have at CA Technologies are the ability to collaborate with others and the ability to execute. We have some demanding deadlines, so it’s exciting, but being able to produce, execute, and have something to show for your work is important and rewarded.”
