Kevin attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he studied kinesiology. After working in the health and medical field for several years, Kevin decided to seek a new opportunity that would engage his interest in making quality care more accessible for underserved populations. When CareMessage co-founder Cecilia Corral reached out to him, the timing was right.
After arriving at the office, Kevin grabs breakfast before settling down to work. Throughout the morning, he fields several onboarding calls and may meet with customers. After lunch, he might attend larger, cross-functional meetings, or do some project planning. If time allows, Kevin catches up on emails before leaving for the day.
“Before working at CareMessage, I had been with very ‘corporate’ companies. There’s really an enormous difference between working in a more corporate environment versus a smaller nonprofit like we have here.”
“The most challenging part of my job is making sure my customers are as comfortable and confident as possible. Managing people can be difficult, so being adaptable and versatile is key.”
