She started at Capital One as a Customer Relations Representative before pursuing a long-term role in technology. Pleased with her work, the Information Security Team offered her a leadership position—and shaped her into a seasoned technologist.

Besides balancing security budgets with Capital One’s technology innovation, Erika helps maintain privacy and protection of financial operations. She shares security tips with Capital One’s executives, leadership staff, and production members each day, explains company system requirements with step-by-step guidelines, and implements precautions to avoid software breaches and to safeguard technologies.
