Jim's background is in user research, cognitive psychology, and computer science. His first few professional roles were consumer-facing, and he most recently led development of new offerings in the web SaaS space. Ready for a change of pace, Jim began researching startups in healthcare—and found his way to Candescent Health. Jim felt his perspective on product and user research could help the company build great customer experiences for an industry that needs it—and he was right.
Jim's goal is to focus and define Candescent Health's product efforts. To make it happen, he works with customers and users, as well as internal Account Management, Support, Logistics, Engineering, and QA Teams. He splits his time between user-centered product development activities and longer-term technology platform strategy.
