Rufina attended Seneca College with a focus on garment design and alterations. After graduation, Rufina worked at a company that mainly handled alteration work, but she soon found interest in repairing garments—and in the warranty process. This passion led her to Canada Goose and her current role in the Warranty Department.
Because Canada Goose offers a lifetime warranty, customers rely on Rufina and her team to keep jackets in pristine condition. Her team meets to discuss any issues and priorities to tackle then they start the repair process, which includes garment inspections, cleaning, tailoring, and quality assurance—all before shipping it back to the customer.
“What initially attracted me was the brand. Canada Goose is a very proud Canadian company, and I’m proud to be part of that.”
“One customer told us how the jacket saved his life. He fell and was stuck in a ditch for a while, and the helicopter could only find him from the reflective tape on the jacket. So I think it is really cool to be part of a company that people appreciate like that.”
