Jim began designing high-rise hotels and office buildings in 1978. After working at Boeing for 8 years, he left to become a software developer. He then returned to architecture and worked on commercial, high-tech and hotel properties. Jim open and ran a regional office in California for 12 years, before returning to the Northwest where BRPH reached out to Jim and he’s been with the company since.
Jim is responsible for interfacing with market sector leads and assists them with implementing business plans and development. Since the BRPH Lynnwood location operates as a full engineering and architectural firm, he also oversees client contracts and ensures the firm’s services are being fully utilized. As such, Jim spends most of his day interacting with project managers to make sure they’re fully supported.
“Right now, I’m involved with a project that includes helping Boeing increase the production rate of their 787 airplanes. It’s incredibly exciting to learn about the new tools being used to streamline the process, and it’s by far my favorite project to work on.”
“If you want to come interview here at BRPH, have a good resume—but also tell us what your passions are about. Being a people-oriented company, we get the most out of people if they’re passionate about coming to work every day.”
