After graduating from Columbia Arts College in Chicago with a degree in design, Ben began building websites for small businesses on a freelance basis. Eventually, he decided to search for a more in-depth engineering position, and he found himself applying to Braintree. Most attracted by tenacity of the team, Ben joined the Braintree family and now shares his software designs with the world.

As a team lead, Ben spends much of his time meeting with new and existing clients, as well as Braintree’s own Executive Team. He works to understand and marry the must-have’s of both parties and plan ahead for upcoming initiatives. Ben also participates in Braintree’s partner program, pairing up every day with another engineer in order to stay motivated and focused current coding tasks.
