Graduating from Duke with a degree in economics and human development, Mark began his career with the financial firm he had interned at as an undergraduate. A great opportunity to grow, Mark was working late on a major project when his director invited him for a coffee break, introducing Mark to his future supervisor at BlackRock.

Working with the Internal Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Mark encourages business leaders throughout the company to think about growing inorganically, by acquiring a new platform, bringing in a new team or capability, or entering a new geography. Mark is also Global Chair of OUT, BlackRock’s network for LGBTQ employees and their allies.
