Amanda attended North Carolina State University, where she received her degree in computer science. During the fall of her senior year, she visited the campus career fair and came across the Blackbaud booth. She found herself drawn to the organization’s nonprofit projects and applied for a position with the company directly after graduation.

Amanda begins her morning at home with her son, arriving in the office around 10 AM. As a team lead, she hosts a daily scrum meeting, then sets about her own coding responsibilities. Throughout the day, she also works with product managers to go through backlogged projects and prepare them for completed in the coming weeks.
