Greg was very familiar with the industry before he joined Big Switch—which was actually a competitor to one of his former companies. However, Big Switch's software-defined approach drew him in right away, and it was an intrigue that lasted nearly three years—until a former colleague referred him to the team and brought him along for the ride.
Greg takes inspiration from Big Switch's differentiated approach, which is inspired by hyperscale networking. As a result, he helped assemble a team sales model that is collaborative—instead of competing against each other for the sake of numbers. Though he oversees the company’s Americas Sales Team and strategy, Greg also collaborates with other department leaders to deliver unified customer experiences.
