Russell expected to have a career in law, but realized the attorney life wasn’t for him. After transitioning to enterprise sales and working his way up to the executive level, he came across BetterCloud. Though he was happy with his current job, Russell believed in every aspect of the startup and knew it was someplace truly special.
On paper, Russell’s goal is to keep the revenue loop healthy—but in reality, he achieves that goal by vicariously catering to customers. He starts by mentoring, supporting, and encouraging development across Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams. By focusing on solving problems instead of playing a numbers game, Russell keeps business thriving and people happy.
