Amy joined Bemis on the recommendation of a recruiter who swore it was her dream job. After five years in finance at Bemis, Amy wanted to try her hand at marketing. Being on a number of cross-functional projects and teams exposed her to different parts of the business, uncovering her passion for marketing and customer-facing interaction. Her finance degree and high-level analysis experience have proven crucial to the switch.
Amy's role is all about doing what other's aren't. The majority of her day is spent collaborating with product development and brands like Nike and Under Armor to understand what Bemis could create next. Managing the product lifecycle and developing sales strategies means time spent analyzing reports. During her paid time off for community service, Amy is building homes in Nicaragua with Habitat for Humanity.
