Elizabeth went to school for veterinary medicine, but after a few months in practice, she realized it wasn’t for her. She then completed a master’s in public health, but still felt she wanted to combine her love for veterinary medicine with public health—and that’s when she found the perfect position at a company called Banfield.

Elizabeth balances her time between supporting her team in their research work and meeting with upper management to understand Banfield’s goals and strategies moving forward. Elizabeth and her team conduct population research on the animals in their system, learning about animal disease to try to prevent it—and to keep pets and owners happy.
