Awesome Austin
A D.C. native, according to Erin Austin for her was love at first sight. Instead of being focused on what people did for a living, Austin’s culture centered around what people liked to do for fun. Erin discovered that that passion for life was particularly strong in Austin's creative community—and knew right away that she wanted to be part of it.

Conference Director
Erin’s main focus is to organize AFF’s Screenwriters Conference—an annual symposium held every October in Austin. Erin spends her time earlier in the year researching trends and industry standouts. As fall approaches, she works to determine the best way to package and assemble her research, creating a conference that’s inspiring for both newcomer and veteran screenwriters.
