Tina studied psychology at Smith College and then funneled all her people skills into AT&T’s Leadership Development Program after graduation. Once she realized leadership development was a niche she wanted to head herself, Tina joined Asurion as a professor of training and gradually progressed—with a few coaching certifications under her belt as well.
Tina’s main goal is providing value to employees that she considers priceless—meaning her coaching and mentorship is relevant beyond the scope of one job or team. Of course, her hands-on training is tailored to the technology environment inside Asurion, but Tina really enjoys empowering people through world-class training that encompasses technical and communicative growth.
“So many things excite me for the future. Aside from the technology, I’d have to say the development of people is amazing. It doesn’t matter if you have a great product if you don’t have great people.”
“I don’t have to go my manager just for issues—I can pop in to toss ideas around or talk casually.”
