Theresia's path to venture capital wasn't planned. After business school, Theresia joined forces with a few classmates to start a company. Several years later, when she was contemplating her next career step, a board member at her company suggested she consider venture capital. She joined Accel and spent 15 years investing in and supporting startups. Wanting to focus on the early stage and pursue building something from the ground up again, Theresia cofounded Aspect Ventures.
Theresia applies the principles she's learned through her prior entrepreneurial journeys, as well as in venture, to building Aspect Ventures. Moreover, she actively invests in and advises Aspect portfolio companies. She also keeps tabs on emerging trends to note exciting opportunities in digital sectors.
