Heather studied psychology at Miami University before taking a customer service role. She made the switch after realizing psychology wasn’t the route she wanted to follow—but HR still offered lots of human interaction. After she ran entire departments, she was recruited to join Ascendum’s community, and hasn’t regretted her path for a second.
Heather starts the day with an extensive to-do list. However, her role comes with a lot of uncertainty and pop-up circumstances that often override her plans. Despite the spontaneity, she still manages to provide for existing employees by shaping the company’s culture, in addition to recruiting new family members to help raise Ascendum even higher.
