Growing up, Dana played a variety of instruments, always interested in music. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree studying business—with a minor in music—from the University of Pennsylvania. After completing her graduate studies at Northwestern, Dana spent seven years practicing law before applying to a position at ASCAP.
Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development
A relatively new addition to the ASCAP team, Dana is consistently impressed by the quality of her co-workers and the impact she can have on music creators around the world. As a member of the Strategy and Business Development Team, Dana helps to grow revenue, build strategic relationships with partners, and help ASCAP expand into the future.
"The thing that I'm most excited about for the future—the thing that I find most motivating—is doing sophisticated, strategic analysis—and doing it on behalf of our passionate members. Few institutions in the world can boast a 100+ year history and more than 600,000 members and still have a real capacity for change."
"I have really strong relationships with my colleagues, which we were able to develop quickly. It's important, as the organization brings in so many new people."
