Brad’s Story
East Goes West
Brad started working at a machine shop back in New Jersey at the age of 17, honing his skills for four years, but felt drawn to the SoCal sun. Traveling to San Diego, he soon heard about Argen, and was excited by the prospect of working someplace where he could develop his skills with cutting-edge technology.

Starting work at 10 AM, Brad often has time to begin his day surfing or wakeboarding at the beach. Once at Argen, he enjoys the challenge of creating new, individualized products and the opportunity to learn new techniques, such as gold milling and CAD/CAM software, before heading home in time to catch the Pacific sunset.

“Management is very approachable, nice, and flexible. If there’s anything that you can add to the process, they’ll always listen. You don’t just work for them. You’re an employee who matters.”

“I recently started working on gold milling. We mill 58% gold crowns. Not many people do it in the world—not many people have held a gold block in their hands. It’s just very cool that I get to do that on a daily basis. ”
