Nick studied finance at Iowa State University. He knew he wanted to work in a really hands-on area of the sales, trading, and commodity market, and he felt that ACT Commodities could offer him the best opportunity to do just that. During his interview, Nick was sold on the amount of autonomy the company offered.
Nick’s days begin in morning meetings with the rest of his team. Together, they discuss new clients they’re interested in going after and what current client priorities are on deck for the day. After that, he’s off to the phones, checking up on his accounts and making cold calls to prospective partners.
