As an undergraduate, Irene studied economics and math. Then in graduate school, she shifted her focus to organizational behavior, and found that she had a talent for solving applied organizational problems. Impressed by the importance of Accolade’s mission, Irene joined the company so she could use her skills to improve the efficiency of the healthcare system.
Irene seeks to correct misinformed heuristics and validate effective ones using empirical data—with the goal of improving organizational efficiency at Accolade. She explores the company’s data repositories and collaborates with different teams. For example, Irene has been working closely with the Mobile Team to define the features of the new mobile app.
