David received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Georgetown University. He spent years in the executive search business before beginning his own firm with a friend. After creating a successful company, David decided to retire from the corporate world, but was lured back in by the perfect opportunity to create 8020 with former colleagues.
David’s daily tasks fall under three main categories—client development and retention, talent acquisition and advancement, and planning for the future. Each week, he attends 10 to 15 meetings with current and prospective clients, closing deals and planning projects. He also leads four or five project status meetings and performance reviews, as well as a few new talent interviews.
