Pirmin’s background is actually in industrial engineering, optimizing processes in factories. Coincidentally, his bachelor’s thesis landed him in his current field when a professor connected Pirmin with a big pharmaceutical company in need of clinical supply chain optimization. He learned on the job to help improve the process for clinical trial testing, thereby benefiting patients faster.
Because Pirmin is the sole employee based in Switzerland, his typical day starts off quiet, thanks to the six-hour time difference. His afternoons and evenings are busy with meetings and communicating with his U.S.-based colleagues and international clients. The flexibility of his schedule and the open communication makes Pirmin’s time with 4G Clinical enriching and focused.

“One of the qualities that stands out about this company is that the people here are really committed to what we do—and doing what needs to be done.”
