I booked a job search strategy meeting with Kristine. Kristine sent me a pre-meeting survey to fill out which was designed to provide her with a lot of information so she could prepare for the meeting. She had done a lot of prep and had really considered my answers to that survey. The meeting focused on the strengths of my applications as well as where there were gaps I needed to fill. She also made sure to have a good idea about the job markets I was interested in pursuing and could offer me directed advice at those markets. We discussed a lot in our meeting and I feel like I have a much better direction on my job search and what I have to do from here. Kristine also provided me with a Job Search Assessment as well an Action Plan within 24 hours of our meeting.

I cannot say enough good things about Kristine. I had been posting resumes and applications to many places for almost 2 years. I wasn't getting the attention or the recognition I felt I deserved from my years of experience as an IT professional. It was recommended to me to attempt a resume review service, something I've intentionally avoided because I never once thought that it would be a worthwhile experience. I was 1000% wrong about that. I knew that it would be very important to work with someone that I knew would take me seriously, and work with me on best representing me through my resume. When I found Kristine's profile (amongst many other quite capable candidates for my business), it was her's that spoke the most to my ambition. I was still very tentative on proceeding with the service at this point, but cautiously optimistic at the same time. When I talked with Kristine, every ounce of doubt I had in the process was eliminated. She was warm, caring, understanding, thorough, attentive, nurturing, receptive and most importantly, passionate about her job, which means she was passionate about my future. To the point that she was able to recommend career paths I hadn't even considered (more on that later). After our discussion, She was very thorough with providing me guidance on what she needed to succeed on my behalf, and promptly providing feedback and updates once she obtained the info she needed. I had my completed resume within a week - and most of that was because of my own personal delays in getting her information. Even after receiving my resume, I was both in awe and a little worried about my resume. The resume was **pristine**. Immaculately detailed in 1 page (which was a shock to me). The part I was worried about was my own insecurities - I've never described myself in the manner by which this resume appeared to highlight my strengths. It almost felt narcissistic, but I quickly reassured myself that she is the professional, this is what I wanted it to represent, and I should trust the process... After I got over the initial hesitation, I finally submitted my resume to a few positions I was interested in seeing. Things I had applied for in the past, but one in particular that I decided to shoot for because of the suggestion that Kristine made for me based on her own interpretation of my skill set. I sent exactly 6 applications out in a couple of days. Six. I had been sending these same applications out for almost 2 years prior. In 2 days I sent *SIX*. I got 5 interviews from 6 applications. I had the LUXURY of choosing my employer and not getting pigeon-holed into a role that I could quantify as another stepping stone and nothing more. During this journey, I pursued 2 of the 5 interviews further. I received the offer I wanted, from the company I most wanted and am set to begin my new chapter, in a new role - for $20,000 more per year than I am making in my current employment, doing more things I want to do and having less stress performing them. Kristine solved my dilemma in a matter of weeks. This new role is literally life-changing and I owe a lot of this transition to Kristine. Without her meticulous attention to detail, and a developed understanding of the job market and my skill set, I wouldn't have even considered pursuing the role I pursued. Remember how I said she recommended a field to me that I hadn't considered? That field is precisely where my new role will take place. I am/was an IT Professional. She recommended HUMAN RESOURCES.. at first, I didn't think those were worlds that would integrate very well with each other, but she saw I had a passion for people in my role.
